Day 32– July 31, 2005, Sunday: Church and Surf

We went again to Solid Rock Church. I love the worship there.

In the afternoon, Ruth and the kids stayed home to nap and I went surfing with Dave and Rodney. We found an awesome spot by the old airport and surfed for a few hours. It’s nice not to wear a wetsuit. It gets a bit interesting with the reef as you have to sometimes avoid it as you surf in. It’s much different than the beaches at home. You can see here my awesome surfing form. Rodney is peaking over the wave behind it. We had a great time. Finally made it out into the water after 32 days here!

When we got home we all jumped in the pool. I think now we are all ready for another packed week.

I can’t believe we’ve been here 32 days now!
