Day 45– Aug 13, 2005, Saturday: a night on the town

After breakfast we went straight for the pool. Then we went straight for lunch. Then, since we were full and tired, we napped. I slept for 2 hours, the kids for 2 ½. Davey likey sleepy. It was nice. We get so tired during the week here, it is nice to catch up. We had great plans of going somewhere today, but the sleep was calling us.

Then when dinner time came we fed the kids and Drew came over. He watched kids while we went out to dinner (his gift to us from Thursday’s time of giving). The kids had fun. We had a great time. We felt very spoiled. We went to Jameson’s which is a restaurant overlooking magic sands beach. Ruth had terriaki ono and I had curry shrimp with mango chutney. Then we had strawberry cheescake for dessert with kona coffee. Hmmmm I can still taste it. Literally, I can, it was only two hours ago. I think God knew that we needed a night out and a nice dinner. It’s odd how much more we appreciate it now than two months ago :).

This is babysitting at it's best. They're all watching a movie. That's Drew on the left. The King of babysitters!
